'Pain isn't just a sensation ,... It's an experience...'
Pain can short-lived, or last for years even decades;... it can be minor, or it can be severe;... it can be localised, or it can be wide-spread;... it can develop after a specific accident, injury, surgery, or emotional trauma, or it may seem to develop with no obvious cause at all.
'Which one of these best describes your complaint?...'
We pride ourselves in the care of patients whom have had their pain or injury for decades, and have sadly been unable to resolve matters, in-spite of repeated attempts elsewhere with other physiotherapists, chiropractors and osteopaths etc. Many of our patients have undergone surgery (without success) in attempt to remedy their complaint.
Many patients present to us with very new (acute) injuries after having experienced trauma or injury such as a road traffic accident (whiplash), a sporting injury, or an accident at work or home.
LIFE-STAGE AND LIFESTYLE RELATED PAIN
Commonly patients see us because they're experiencing problems related to a life-stage or lifestyle e.g pregnancy, ageing, sedentary work or conversely manual work, leisure activities (golf, gardening etc.)
POST SURGICAL PAIN
Patients also present to us after having undergone orthopaedic surgery (i.e back surgery or a knee replacement), looking to promote a full and complete recovery.
